Botta Venkateshwar Rao

By

botta-v-rWhen Botta Venkateshwar Rao was attending a training session, no IDIA trainer wanted to go to the class unprepared. This visually impaired scholar with an innate grasp of legal reasoning, amazed them with extremely intelligent and thoughtful questions in every class they undertook. It wasn’t a surprise to them when Venkateshwar offered to pay for his own CLAT form in April 2013 with the prize money he won through a competition!

Venkateshwar’s mother passed away when he was a toddler and while his step mother and uncle encouraged him to follow his dreams of studying law, his father wanted him to come back home after finishing school, to work with him in the fields. He has been visually impaired since birth but that has not stopped him from excelling in academics and representing his school in various competitions. In fact, his mentors and trainers point out that Venkateshwar always seems to excel in a situation where odds are all stacked up against him! His success in CLAT and securing a seat at RMLNLU, Lucknow, bears testimony to that. His intelligence and perseverance has captivated the minds and hearts of the IDIA family and we are proud of this boy gifted with a true “vision” to dream big and achieve them.
