IDIA Charitable Trust has been duly registered under Section 11(1) of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, as an organization of the category ‘Educational Social’ and having the registration number 094421588. In accordance with the terms under which the Trust has been thus registered, the Trust also adheres to all the requirements and related provisions of the said Act, along with those of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 2011. Therefore, the Trust is at present legally authorized to receive donations and contributions in the nature of “foreign contributions”, as defined in the relevant provisions of the said Act and Rules, and it also undertakes to spend any fund received of said nature solely towards meeting the direct expenses incurred on behalf of the scholars trained and supported by the Trust, as well as to adhere to all further requirements specified under the said Act and Rules in relation to similar expenditure. The Trust also undertakes to maintain its accounts in relation to said funds received, as well as file all necessary notifications to the concerned authorities in relation to receipt and expenditure of said funds, as prescribed under the provisions of the said Act and Rules, as well as any other applicable law currently in force in India.
